Built a production-ready URL shortening service with a focus on usability, security, and privacy. Users can sign up with OAuth or credentials, create short links with optional passwords/expiration, categorize links with tags, and view click statistics. Redirects are handled by a server middleware that securely increments click counts and records last-click timestamps. The UI is built with reusable component primitives, supports dark mode, and includes utilities like QR generation and bulk downloads. I also implemented SEO-friendly features (sitemap) and legal pages (privacy + terms) and integrated Vercel Analytics for aggregated usage metrics.

Key responsibilities / highlights:

Designed Prisma data models and implemented persistence (support for local SQLite / hosted DB).
Implemented authentication and session handling with NextAuth (OAuth + credentials), including email verification and two‑factor flows.
Built server middleware for fast redirects and click counting.
Developed a responsive, accessible UI using Tailwind CSS and React (App Router).
Added sitemap, privacy & TOS pages, and analytics integration.
Deployed to Vercel and iterated based on usage data and accessibility checks.
